Student Testimonials

“Professor Walczewski is an inspiring figure to learn from and to work with. She is both wonderfully passionate about teaching and exceptionally knowledgeable in her course material and so much more beyond that. She truly takes all her students to heart, investing a great deal of time and effort into ensuring that every single student fully understands, engages with, and participates in her classes. As a student, it has been so extremely rewarding to be taught by her. As a teaching fellow, I have learned so much from just observing the way she prepares for her classes and tailors the curriculum. Professor Walczewski is truly an exceptional educator.” –Belle Cui, Harvard Law School Class of 2026

“Erin was my pre-law advisor as an undergraduate and one of my professors in law school. Erin is the exceedingly rare combination of brilliant, diligent, and compassionate that makes her an incredible advisor and professor. She cares deeply about her community and everyone in it. Ohio needs more people like Erin in public office, fighting to make our state a better place for all people.” –Kellen Dugan, Harvard College Class of 2019, Harvard Law School Class of 2024

“Erin was my academic advisor from 2008 – 2009, and helped me pursue a fulfilling academic journey during college and a satisfying career path in the years after. But just as importantly, she has always been a trusted mentor and role model, and helped me become a good human being.” –Hunter Landerholm, college Class of 2009, Harvard Law School Class of 2012

“Professor Walczewski doesn’t just teach—she invests in her students in a way that is rare and unforgettable. She cares deeply about our progress, understanding, and future, challenging and supporting us in equal measure. We are all far better for having learned from her.” –Anna Albuquerque, Harvard Law School Class of 2026

“Erin is a dedicated, thoughtful individual who cares deeply about helping young people define and achieve their dreams. She was my advisor for three years in college, and I can say with certainty that, without her guidance, I would not be in the position I am today.” –Dr. Nathaniel D. Robinson, Harvard College Class of 2010

“Professor Walczewski was one of my all time favorite instructors at Harvard Law School and I consider her a personal mentor. A few things stood out most in taking and serving as teaching assistant for her course: 1) her level of preparation (to the point of memorizing dozens of student names/seats in advance of even the first class) 2) her unique combination of practical experience in the pro bono space and academic expertise and 3) her constantly positive outlook and endless amounts of energy!” –Kaivan Shroff, Harvard Law School Class of 2022
